Mission & Vision

To respond to the crisis needs for food, clothing, shelter, heating fuel, and medicine for families in western Stokes County; and to help facilitate the provision of programs in Stokes County that will assist clients in the development of skills for independent living to reduce recurrence of crises.

"The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention."

Thrift shop

The Thrift Shop is a vital part of King Outreach Ministry.  Staffed by a Store Manager and Assistant Manager, and volunteers, it provides our clients and the general public an opportunity to purchase clothing, housewares and furniture (when available) at a very low cost.

King Outreach Ministry is a special group of volunteers working every day to improve the lives of our fellow citizens in western Stokes County. We are a big family dedicated to helping others. Visitors will find that the spirit is contagious as we go about our daily efforts. We are committed to serve and we do so gladly and joyously. Come join us for a morning and see what we are all about!
